FINDING MORE BLAZERS

This is my week-day 'I've made an effort today' kind of look! I actually wore this outfit yesterday because currently in the UK right now it is bloody beautiful weather. There is no chill in the air for September, no wind, only the sun shining to create what feels like the perfect temperature. So I felt it was only right to get more use out of my skirts whilst my legs are still tanned from my holiday to Portugal the other week...

CUTE TOPS WITH A TWIST

Here is to, exactly what my styling has always been about... taking a cute little piece of clothing and wearing it with a twist, an edge. TWO ALL BLACK LOOKS

GINGHAM

MAKING STATEMENTS

New week... new theme. 

Instagram theme that is, and obviously you guys who also read my blog and like more of chit chat post,s will begin to notice a difference too. It is definitely warmer. I changed it for the simple fact it was more manageable, and this new theme doesn't take up so much time and I can put more of my efforts into the actual content rather than the asthetics. Don't get me wrong, I love a good looking feed, but this one is definitely more relaxed and welcoming.

 I'm eager to start showing off my little place and incorporating more interior pictures into my feed, so having an injection of colour within a new theme seemed the perfect move forward. 

WELL SUITED

Most of you who have followed me for some time now, or follow me on my Instagram... know I love a good suit. I think I just love co-ords in general, I find them very effortless and an 'safe' option maybe. I just love anything matchy matchy. As soon as clocked this embroidered black suit online, it had my name written all over it.

PATTERN CLASH

I have been wearing dresses as we enter Summer, but not fully committing if that makes sense. I still feel I want to wear a cover up or a jacket. Especially in the UK. The weather is so changeable and I love jackets, cardis and coats.. so I struggle letting them go.

GIVING IN TO GINGHAM

I was very much denying my love of gingham for awhile as I just wasn't sure on it and when bloggers tend to overdo something.. whether it be a style or pattern, it puts me off, but I have definitely 'given into gingham'.. it is official. Here is the dress that made that all happen. This midi/nearly maxi dress is going to be such a strong staple for the upcoming hot weeks. Roll on 27 degrees this weekend guys!

CHECK MATE

I have been on the hunt for the perfect blazer all Spring. Finally I have my hands on the perfect piece. Let's be honest... we don't have the best weather all round in the UK, so I will be using this as a cover up most evenings, just because. There is just so many things I can wear this with, and I wanted to keep in with the oversized theme.. so I actually picked this up in a size 18.

BORG

We all have borg starrey eyes recently and it's everywhere. I picked up a new hoodie not long ago, which has now gone viral in various colours, but I couldn't resist getting my hands on this oversized jacket in the same material too. I know it's not exactly season appropriate as we welcome Spring, but lets be honest, it's still freezing and all I care about is comfort.

TIPS FOR GETTING A BETTER NIGHTS SLEEP - DRIFT MATTRESS

I can't quite express to you guys how much my new mattress has changed my life... for the better. When I moved into my new place a few months ago, Drift kindly contacted me to work together and try out their affordable, luxury pocket spring roll up mattress. I had never deemed a mattress as the ultimate life-long investment piece before, but I've always known they were something worth spending money on. As humans we spend an average of 229,961 hours in bed.. which is a third of our life!!! 

At the same time they contacted me, I had just purchased a new double bed and was in search for the perfect mattress. I was looking for one which gave great support to my back and posture but also was super comfy and soft. I wasn't sure whether such mattress even existed. There timing couldn't have been more perfect..

SLEEPING BAG COAT

I'm back with a new blog post and a more focused mind set. I am definitely felt more sure of the direction I want my blog to go in these past few months and especially in the content I want to create. I write this now whilst sat in the bath, as it has been a long day. I'm relaxed, I have candles lit and I'm trying to get back to what I used to love.. stripped back.. the bare basics.. (hmmm I'm not sure if these choices of words are entirely appropriate with me being in the bath, but hey we'll roll with it)
