MATALAN COMPETITION

Items marked with a * were gifted

Trousers - Matalan | Jumper - Matalan | Jacket - Matalan | Pumps - Matalan

Right guys.. so I'm currently in a blogger competition for Matalan. I was super excited when I was asked to be involved in their new blogger competition, alongside 3 fellow fashion bloggers.

Our task was to style their new zip back jumper from their current knitwear range! Our budget was £40 to spend on other various Matalan items in order to create a complete look from head to toe.

This jumper comes in various different colours, I chose the dusky pink colour, as I'm really loving this blush colour at the moment, especially with denim. I wanted a really casual, yet smart look, so I chose their skinny distressed jeans (which are incredible by the way), their comfortable but stylish silver flatforms and I decided to complete the look with one of their textured boyfriend blazers. All of which are at amazingly affordable prices!!

I love the burnt orange colour against the dusky pink, with both being such soft tones for Autumn, they really compliment eachother. Then the silver shoes really add that pop  at the end to complete an overall trendy Matalan look.

I chose this outfit to suit a wide audience and range of people. With Matalan having such a large demographic and vast age range of people buying from their website. This was a look which would appeal to many. You could also swap these pumps for a lovely pair of heels and take this outfit into the night.

Right guys, how you can help me WIN this comp :)

Just head over to Matalans Facebook page or use this link below and like my picture over the other 3 bloggers.

The winner is the blogger with the most likes on their picture and I would really love to win!

VLABEL | SUIT UP

Trousers* - VLabel London | Jacket* - VLabel London | Trainers* - River Island

Thanks to VLabel London I know own this beautiful suit! It fits like a glove and has the most beautiful fabric. I was nervous about ordering a suit, as I have bought many from the likes of Topshop and ASOS and you are always happy with either the fit of the jacket or the trousers, but never both.

I was pleasantly surprised when both pieces fit me perfectly, and this really shows in the quality of the fabric and the design. It is a beautiful off-white/pearl colour and the whole suit has a shine to it.

I especially love the tassle detail at the end of the jacket, this jacket would really look amazing dressed down with jeans or a stand out piece over a dress. There is just so many ways in which you could style this suit and definitely a strong staple for this coming Season.

I have styled mine quite simply to show you guys and have put on my comfy River Island trainers to give it more of a trendier look.

Please let me know what you guys think?

STYLING MY VANS

Jeans* - In The Style | Trainers - Vans | Top - Peacocks

Finally got a post up in some Vans.. it's been a long while. I have always been a converse girl, as I never really liked the original style vans, but this new-ish style I love and I have definitely been swaying more to putting my Vans on in a morning instead.

I love how this popular monochrome pair goes with just about anything in your wardrobe, from jeans to dresses. They are able to instantly transform the look of an outfit by making it more edgier and quite tomboy, which I always like.

My favourite way to style mine are with my favourite pair of blue ripped jeans from In The Style and this casual V-neck top I picked up in Peacocks because I love this colour with denim.

This super laid back look has my name all over it right now and my instagram seems to have gone into a cream/beige frenzie all of a sudden, so it seemed appropriate to show you this regular look I have been going for.

How do you style your Vans?

SWINTER | INTHESTYLE

Dress* - In The Style | Jacket - Levis | Boots - Topshop | Necklace - M&S

I was reading Grazia magazine today when I came across the word.... Swinter!!!:)

That word, if it's even an official word, it's bloody perfect. It describes the current state of this past month, and also describes the struggle we are all going through trying to find an appropriate outfit to wear. "Why do you have a skirt on, but a jumper in your hand?" "It's Swinter, what do you expect!!"

Ok, enough of that great word I have come across, let's talk more of this beautiful silk mauve/blush coloured cami dress I recently got from In The Style,  I am absolutely in love with it and this colour! I am also giving my readers a special 10% off their website, just keep reading..

Straight away I wanted to pair this dress with some black boots and give it more of an edgier vibe. I love the split detail in the front and this is definitely something I would wear to a blogging event or dinner in London with friends. The dress is super flattering with its soft fabric and can also be style with some sexy heels and a leather jacket.

I am yet to do an evening look with this dress, so please keep an eye out for more!

Jacket - Levis | Crop top* - In The Style | Jeans - Topshop | Trainers - Nike

This is when I feel most comfortable, when I'm in my favourite pair of jeans, favourite trainers, a cute crop and an oversized vintage Levi to cover up. This is my perfect attire for this time of year and a winning casual girl-skater look.

I believe everyone should own a Levi denim jacket, I have two. A medium wash denim and a light wash one. Something else you all should own.. is one of these In The Style crochet crop tops. They are so pretty and come in all different beautiful colours. I have this burnt orange colour and also a beautiful mustard colour. I think I would quite like to get my hands on the white one next :)

Let me know what you guys think to this 'super casual' look and what is your favourite outfit?

I'm also collaborating with Mink Pink at the moment, as a UK based blogger, it is such a privilege to be showcasing such a well known and popular Australian brand.

I have some amazing pieces to show you and one being this gorgeous black high neck jumper. It is super soft and comfortable and has a cut out back detail. What I love about the Mink Pink brand is they always add something extra special and something different to all their designs and pieces. Something that really makes them stand out from other brands of this audience.

I have styled this all black jumper with a pair of skinny jeans and my new favourite black bucket bag from the high street at H&M for just £19.99. You could style this however, as a dress with a pair of your favourite converse, or even with a skirt and boots. It is a great versatile piece this A/W.

HENNA CREPE BELL SLEEVES

DressMissguided | Jacket - Oh My Love | Shoes - ASOS

Hi guys.. so this was infact my birthday outfit, which I wanted to recreate for you in a simple outfit post so you could see what I chose a few weeks back and wore on a night out with friends, which didn't make it to instagram.

Everyone wants to look extra special on their birthday right? So I went and treated myself to a new dress and killer heels. Then put them together and what did I get.. an awesome birthday attire!!

Here is what I got, I picked up this amazing henna print skater dress from Missguided. My birthday was last month, so white seemed perfectly appropriate with it being the middle Summer. I mostly fell in love with the crepe bell sleeves and the henna detailing. It was nothing I had ever seen online before and I knew it would make a great statement.

I then spotted these amazing heeled sandals on ASOS and fell in love instantly, I didn't even care if they went with the dress or not.. I was wearing them!! The dark wooden detail and studs look really expensive and they are surprisingly now the most comfortable pair of heels I own. I love the long laces which you tie up your ankle in various different ways to create different looks each time.

I just threw on a studded black leather jacket over the top to match the whole grudge vibe and I was good to go.

It is safe to say that this is my far my favourite outfit of the year. Let me know what you think?
