LOVE IN LEOPARD

Black Cap - River Island,
Glasses - Primark,
Denim Look Sweater - Primark (mens),
Leopard Shorts - Primark,
Leopard Sneaks - VANS

Everyone loves leopard, and if you haven't got a naughty streak for it.. there is something wrong with you. I recently bought some leopard silk bedding which is reversible and has plain black on the other side, I love it. Since getting these Vans at Christmas off my sister, I needed a great garment to go with them, these leopard Primark shorts are amazing. For just 4 pound, they are a steal and they look such great quality as well. Primark have an amazing cheap range of shorts and for your holidays this year, it is a no brainer. For me the leopard ones are the best and I will be wearing these all through the Summer, they feel great and have a lovely black tie.

I'm a size 8 but I actually bought these in a size 10. I wanted them slightly more baggy, as the size 8 were very short and I had too much cheek on show. The size 10 are perfect and more tasteful. So there is a little heads up! My addiction to venturing down to the menswear is still in full force.. and the most current item and fabric I'm purchasing at the moment is DENIM, down to my new job!! So when I came across this denim sweater lookalike, I had to get it. I love it and I'm sure I will get some mixed reviews, but sweaters are now a huge trend on the high street, with a more baseball, varsity niche in stores, this sweater would add to my collection. I have lots of sweaters now, they are so easy, simple to wear and go with everything.

I decided to put my denim sweater with the leopard combo and to funk it up for the shoot, I teamed a hat and sunglasses to add some cool Summer vibes.

Really hope you enjoy the post as much as I loved doing it.

BLACK, WHITE AND LILAC!!

White Dress - Topshop,
Black Buckled Boots - Topshop,
Leather Jacket - Topshop,
Black Studded Backpack - Primark

This was such a fun shoot. It was fairly windy as you can tell, but it added to the effect. I fell in love with this skirt when I saw it. I liked the innocence of it as the sleeves hang off the tops of your arms. I wanted something really pretty and floaty for Jacks birthday, as I knew we would be going for a nice meal. I had the idea of wearing my new black buckled ankle boots from Topshop which I managed to get in the sale for just 40 pounds. Oh and if you are wondering why I haven't been using a pound sign recently, it is because I am blogging on Jacksons MacBook and I've forgotten how to do one ha. Anyways that being said, my boots were an absolute steal and they seem to be in the current thing to have at the moment coming in all different styles. The biker boot has made a massive return.

I also decided to wear my leather jacket over the top and my backpack, adding to the biker theme. It is a pretty dress gone bad. I just wouldn't dream of putting cute white heels with this outfit.. I'd be SICK!! It's just not me at all, this is my twist on a little white dress.

DUNGAREES

Burgundy Beanie - H&M,
Lilac Crop Top - Primark,
Denim Dungarees - Primark,
White Converse - Schuh,
Purple Peace Necklace - Freedom at Topshop

So this is the first blog post on location that I have done with my new hair. I have been sporting the lilac locks for months now and it definitely was the right decision. I have my moments where I wonder what it would be like to go back to a more normal look.. but I feel like any colour after this will now seem boring. I enjoy the element of attention and looks it brings, good or bad. I love the colour and in the sun and the evening it has such an amazing shine to it, even though it's bleached out.

Since I last wrote on here, my life has changed somewhat. I now work for Topshop and my favourite bar in the city of Liverpool. I have been working extremely hard and the blog has taken a back seat.. but now I'm slowly getting into a routine, I'm back on the ball and ready to go. My blog launched August last year and I really want to still achieve so much before I have my year anniversary. My lilac hair is a new fresher me, with a new defined style, new attitude and new outlook to life.

Really hope you enjoy the most recent shoots I have done, with the help of my amazing mother as my photographer. I don't think she quite realises just how good she's getting. This post is all about the dungarees. This Spring denim is everywhere, on the front displays of every shop and incorporated in every trend. I bought a very light pair a few years back and never got round to wearing them, this year, my new job encourages me to wear denim as the bar requires a uniform of only black and denim. For me, someone who embraces fashion and current trends.. knew I could play around with this idea and have some fun.

Dungarees being one of them. This was definitely a bold move. I came across these gorgeous dark worn out ones in the one and only Primark. I went hunting in Primark because most of the clothes you wear behind a bar ends up getting wrecked, so I didn't want them to be too expensive. These dungarees were only 11 pounds and I have had so many amazed eyes when I tell them where I bought them from, most girls expect me to say Urban Outfitters. I like how they're baggy at the bottom and have a boyfriend style to them. I have matched them up with a small lilac washed out crop, some white converse and a beanie. Simple but affective, perfect for the Summer and you can even wear these over your bikini on holiday. That is what I plan on doing in Italy next month :)
