WHITE / GOLD

For those who follow my instagram.. you will have seen most of these pictures already and heard all about my latest Primark haul! Here is the £13 dress I was telling you about!!! I went shopping with my mum yesterday and had been meaning to pop into the Primark in town for this dress. The fabric is great quality for what it is, soft to touch and looks really expensive. The collar is made well and I'm wearing my size, a size 8 and it's still got so much room in it. This amazing white sheer number cost me just £13 and I don't care what anyone says about Primark, I love nothing more than finding a bargain and if you buy the right thing from there, it's really rewarding to have special pieces that you haven't had to break the bank for. Zara has a similar style jumper dress but its £30 and Topshop are also showcasing a love of sheer panelling fashion. So this was a perfect opportunity to show my readers and my followers why I love affordable fashion and with the right styling.. you can make even a Primark dress a success.

I have matched it up with some black croc lace up boots, keeping in theme with the monochrome look and another bargain of the day, was this roll over crisp white clutch from Internacionale, they have recently gone into administration and everything has gone into sale stock. I thought I would take a look and maybe get a great deal on some leggings or jersey tops, but then I ended up spotting this little dream. What do you think? ...

I also have on, all gold accessories, my gold Michael Kors watch, gold midi rings I recently purchased from Topshop from their mid-season sale and also gold earrings. I NEVER wear earrings, so this was a massive change for me and felt quite strange but I'm inclined to give it another go soon. I also have in a new gold nose ring, so I felt I was rocking some gypsy/nomadic vibes.

I have also styled this amazing dress for the daytime on my instagram.. so head over to http://instagram.com/glitterandgrimes and let me know what you think.

FRESH PRINCESS

Gold 2 Piece Chain - Freedom Topshop,
Mesh Black Dress - Oh My Love,
Black Leather - Topshop,
Picasso Jacket - Vintage

x I love this mesh dress by Oh My Love, you can wear it anytime and that's the beauty of it. You can wear it in the day underneath a pencil skirt or jacket, but then also wear it on a night out, with some sexy smalls underneath and the layering of jewellery ontop.

This item used to be £32 and is now in the sale for just £18. So use the link in the description above and gets yours now! Oh My Love have such an amazing range of party wear and with them being such a successful concession at my work, it is so tempting watching the turnover of styles every week and refraining from wanting to spend all my money. Their silk pink numbers are to die for too. I'm very excited to see their Summer range.

A very Rihanna inspired look, adding my new gold 2 piece necklace by Freedom at Topshop over this mesh styled dress. The smaller choker has a gold penny attached and the larger one is a lions head. I also have on some simple leather boots and my wacky vintage jacket I bought a few years ago, which is a combination of bright colours and the work of Picasso on the back. Always sure to turn heads during the day.

Hype my look on lookbook guys, or follow me on Bloglovin if you want more of these outfit updates.

DUNGAREES

Burgundy Beanie - H&M,
Lilac Crop Top - Primark,
Denim Dungarees - Primark,
White Converse - Schuh,
Purple Peace Necklace - Freedom at Topshop

So this is the first blog post on location that I have done with my new hair. I have been sporting the lilac locks for months now and it definitely was the right decision. I have my moments where I wonder what it would be like to go back to a more normal look.. but I feel like any colour after this will now seem boring. I enjoy the element of attention and looks it brings, good or bad. I love the colour and in the sun and the evening it has such an amazing shine to it, even though it's bleached out.

Since I last wrote on here, my life has changed somewhat. I now work for Topshop and my favourite bar in the city of Liverpool. I have been working extremely hard and the blog has taken a back seat.. but now I'm slowly getting into a routine, I'm back on the ball and ready to go. My blog launched August last year and I really want to still achieve so much before I have my year anniversary. My lilac hair is a new fresher me, with a new defined style, new attitude and new outlook to life.

Really hope you enjoy the most recent shoots I have done, with the help of my amazing mother as my photographer. I don't think she quite realises just how good she's getting. This post is all about the dungarees. This Spring denim is everywhere, on the front displays of every shop and incorporated in every trend. I bought a very light pair a few years back and never got round to wearing them, this year, my new job encourages me to wear denim as the bar requires a uniform of only black and denim. For me, someone who embraces fashion and current trends.. knew I could play around with this idea and have some fun.

Dungarees being one of them. This was definitely a bold move. I came across these gorgeous dark worn out ones in the one and only Primark. I went hunting in Primark because most of the clothes you wear behind a bar ends up getting wrecked, so I didn't want them to be too expensive. These dungarees were only 11 pounds and I have had so many amazed eyes when I tell them where I bought them from, most girls expect me to say Urban Outfitters. I like how they're baggy at the bottom and have a boyfriend style to them. I have matched them up with a small lilac washed out crop, some white converse and a beanie. Simple but affective, perfect for the Summer and you can even wear these over your bikini on holiday. That is what I plan on doing in Italy next month :)
